Pasteurizer/Cheese Vat (scratch and dent)
Heat-treating colostrum is the best way to remove CAE (Caprine Arthritis). To properly heat treat, the colostrum must be held at 135° for an hour. Too hot and it will turn to pudding, too cool and the job is not done. This pasteurizer/cheese vat takes all the guesswork out of this process.
- This stand alone unit has it's own heating element and digital controller.
- This does not go on a stovetop. It is a completely independent unit!
- Just plug it in and go!
- Milk, colostrum, or your favorite cheese recipe is gently warmed using a water bath. The digital thermostat can be set to any temperature from 58 - 230 degrees Fahrenheit

- Perfect size for doing as little as a quart to two/three gallons
- Ideal height for countertop operation
- Reasonably priced to save hundreds compared to other pasteurizers on the market
- Provides precise temperature and timing control for the most demanding cheeses.
