    You can reclaim a failed batch of soap by doing the following. Cut the soap into small pieces. The smaller the better and faster it can be done. Place the soap pieces into a stainless or enamel container. Add enough just enough water to cover the pieces, error on the side of adding too little rather than too much. You can always add a little more if needed. The water is just to help the soap dissolve as you heat it up. Put on low heat and stir occasionally until all the soap pieces have dissolved. When the soap lumps disappear, increase the heat and stir until the mixture get thick. Pour back into the molds and let harden for 24-48 hours.
